Scrapbooking 4 a Cause
This time around we went green for World Environment Day while fund raising for the Ti Ratana Welfare Home; a centre for abused, abandoned, runaway, homeless and under privilege women.
.Chief Ratana admiring some of the finish products at the booth, while Datuk Tony explains scrapbooking to the Chief! Not BAD!!!!!!!!!! Datuk! Looks like Datin Catherine has an attentive hubby there.
.
Contributors were given unlimited cut-outs (embellishments) from recycled materials and free use of adhesive, pens, markers, stamps, glitter glue etc. to create their creations.
.
Our participants were so varied: children, adults, boys, girls and even VVIPs like Datin Sri Jeanne Abdullah and Datin Wendy Ong!
..
Me, showing Datin Wendy Ong and Datin Sri Jeanne Abdullah some of our scrapbooking and craft projects made from recycleable materials.

Sounds not bad, but I wonder what recycle material u guys are using???
recycle paper? only paper? ... why not recycle those bottle, tin can, clothes, so that it actually can be more creative for the Kids, not only paper
yes indeed!
the main theme was to make cards from recycled paper for charity.
but we also used bottles, lots of tins, fabric etc. as samples and ideas.
we're doing another drive this week ... so, yes, thanks indeed for the encouragement and ideas.
