and more Outreach Programme news

.
RE-STORE

was this week's challenge for us.

Scrap-n-Crop.com joined Datin Catherine Lai to bring awareness about craft, charity and the environment.

Working around the theme RE-STORE, we demonstrated how old stuff, recycle-able items and scraps can be used to make beautiful projects and gifts that will last a lifetime.

More importantly, we highlighted how something as simple as craft can bridge the gap between women and assist those in need; both in terms of employment for stay @ home moms with kids with cerebral palsy as well as the women in the Ti Ratana home - Outreach Programmes which Scrap-n-Crop.com and Datin Catherine Lai passionately champions.

recycling MR tins for Environmental Day

.
Remember those dull aluminum tins / "suitcases" the Maya Road chipboards came in?
.
Well, here's what my sis came up with for our STAR (newspaper) Environmental Day drive this coming Sunday.

So, ladies ...

. Want not . Waste not .

...err, since we are addicted to scrapbooking, the "want not" mantra may be hard to stick to, so let's recycle and save the environment instead.

ali inspires ... why not scrap-lift?

SCRAP-LIFT?!?

oh, well...
...................we all do it from time to time.

A little help and inspiration from the "gurus" wouldn't hurt. So, while I was flipping through my latest CK mag, I saw this!
.
.

"OMG, I have the same Bo Bunny LOVE Album!"

Immediately I sprinted to my basement room (hee hee, the advantage of having a scrapbook store I guess) and grabbed one LOVE album for myself.

"I'll make an album for Becks," I thought. "Ahh... let's make one for Bryant as well." So, I took two albums rather than one. Since mine is still in progress ... here's more pix of the pro's - Ali Edwards.

New New New

Hi guys,

I am back....have had a hectic past 3 months....will blog more bout that when I am ready! But anyway, a quick note before I zzz...we have new stuff....all new, I just downloaded them today...the adhesives are in and so is the wonderful and talked about Crop-a-Dile tool!!! Yes, this fantastic tool has like 8 in 1 functions, I love it so much I had to take one for myself!

This is what I got from the website, www.weronthenet.com.

"Unbelievable. That's what everyone is saying about the Crop-A-Dile, and it's no wonder-- even the creators of the tool are impressed with what it can do. The Crop-A-Dile is no ordinary eyelet and snap setter. It punches through chipboard like butter, and with 1/8 and 3/16 inch built-in hole punchers, it silently and easily sets snaps and eyelets of both sizes-- and there are no loose pieces to keep track of! You'll be amazed at what you can do with this great tool."

Go and check out the amazing project ideas!!! They are all there on the website! So till then, have fun!
